Most people are advised to drink enough to pass about 2.5 litres of urine daily. For many adults, that means roughly three litres of fluid.
Your urine should look pale, not dark yellow. Increase intake in summer and during physical work. Patients with heart or kidney conditions should ask their doctor first.
